| I got this weird e-mail telling me that Xanga would delete my site if I didn't post. I don't really intend to use it anymore, but I harbor a certain fondness for the entity which completely absorbed a good two years of my life. Plus, if I deleted, I probably wouldn't remember those two years. In closing, my elbow itches. Love, Missy | | |
| I, uhm, realize that it's been a while. But I'm not being as pathetic as some other people, so I suppose it's okay. Well ... I don't have anything particularly exciting to say. Just wanted to let you know -- I'm alive. Oh, and my birthday is in ... four days. Huzzah! | | |
| Well ... I suppose yesterday was exciting enough. Ginny had Julia over Tuesday night for spending-the-night purposes, and they watched movies the whole time. Hmm ... Yesterday, much to my delight, we went to the pool and hung out -- it was exciting. Really, I do the love the pool ... a lot. Relaxing is one of my favorite activities -- really, it is. But I still miss you guys -- not that I've really spent that much time away from everyone. I'm just used to being surrounded by all these people all the time ... and now I'm surrounded by twelve-year-olds. As you may have guessed from the previous statement, my brother had friends over. Three of them. And they're all little, annoying, and in my house. Not a very good combination, when you think about it. I hate sitting at home and hearing them down the stairs -- they all laugh and talk different when they're trying to be cool. Bleh. I dislike small children. Today, I have an exciting and fun-filled day of cleaning my room to look forward to. My parents decided that I've been allowed to neglect it for far too long, and now I have to clean it up. So I spent the better part of this morning polishing my dresser. Super. Oh! And since I think I forgot to tell you the other day, I dyed my hair. It's red now. I feel like a goth. Lol ... All right -- ttfn! X.x Icon of the Day x.X

| So despite all of my apprehensions, I really did have fun on Monday night. For one, I think the ice cream may have put me in an excellent mood ... therefore, I was predisposed to be nice ... or sociable ... around people. Yay for ice cream. I officially adore Cold Stone Creamery. I also enjoyed Em's youth group -- I may have to come ... sometimes. :) On that note, my rest of today was somewhat boring. And I now face a dilemma. Today I was talking to Emily, who decided that I need to take a four-credit college Math course this summer ... for five weeks. Bleh. However, upon mentioning such an escapade to my mother, she hesitated, kinda looked at me, and was like "Oh, and you need to get a job so that you can go to Europe this year." Sad. Well, she said Europe, so that put me in a better mood. Honestly -- I don't know why I'm so depressed over not being able to fill my summer up with ... Math. Bleh. Maybe because it involves job applications and talking to people ... and Math in college. Ew. At least I have the House marathon to look forward to. *sigh* I hate growing up. X.x Icon of the Day x.X

| So, finally, one week into summer I can finally kick off the flip flops, go to the pool, and relax. And I'm very excited about that. This past weekend I was stuck in the house -- kind of -- with my siblings, driving them everywhere they needed to be. To be perfectly honest, I could have just taken off at any given moment, but yeah. I didn't. Because I'm a neurotic control freak like that. Mommy and Daddy were in Indianapolis for the burial this weekend. They came back yesterday, and I made dinner. I really do enjoy cooking -- I just don't think about it. Plus, I don't handle anything that has blood. I would make a good vegetarian, don't you think? Lol ... speaking of vegetarian ... I watched John Tucker Must Die yesterday. It was hilarious. I laff it. Now I pretty much have to locate it OnDemand and tape it. Or record it. Or something to that effect. On that note ... I love this song. *sings* X.x Icon of the Day x.X
P.S. -- If anyone wants to do anything, please call me up and we'll arrange it. I'm already bored. Plus, I think that my entire day is scheduled up with cleaning ... bleh. | | |
